When grabbing your book a day to exam, one should expect a lot to happen. But when you see things inside that book and you realise their is no way i am gonna pass this course then you break down. The question is why do we have to wait so long? I keep asking myself, but i guess you have an answer to that.

Education in Nigeria has not been about the knowledge but about the grades. Most students prefer to cram their notes and then we-write verbatim what they learnt in class on the exam sheets. This is further fueled by the non-creative questions set by teachers such that the questions are usually a replica of the examples in class. I believe until we make our learning experience practical, grading system as a proper reflection of understanding, then students will prefer to wait for the dying minute to begin preparation for exam.

I will agree to what kelechi just said students prefer craming than reading normally if you are preparing for exams you need to always read what you were thought immediately after the lectures take for example I go to class and I was thought government I shouldn't wait a day to exams before grabing my notes I should be able to read that topic before going to sleep, so my advice for students preparing for exams is to read ahead of your teacher or lecturer so as to avoid rush Thanks.

I also think we should look at the school and even our school curriculum, it can be very bulky and boring that as for me I have to read my main subject that I like and cram some because it is very bulky and some can't be related to my field,I can't imagine studying Igbo and Biology the same way. I think our government should look into our school curriculum very much deeper.
